Honestly, the Binjiang district location is pretty brilliant if you know Hangzhou at all. You’re on the south side of the Qiantang River, which means you get those gorgeous river views without the tourist crowds that swamp West Lake. The four-star property sits right on Dongxin Avenue — a main thoroughfare that connects you to everything, but the hotel itself feels tucked away from the traffic noise. What I really appreciate is how couples seem to gravitate here; there’s something about the riverside setting that just works for romantic getaways. Plus, you can actually walk along the riverfront in the evenings, which beats being stuck in the middle of a busy commercial district.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in faced the river, and wow — those floor-to-ceiling windows really deliver. You know what surprised me? The soundproofing is excellent, considering you’re in such a bustling part of the city. The bed was that perfect firmness where you sink in just enough, and the bathroom had one of those rainfall showers that actually has decent water pressure. Small details matter too — like having enough outlets near the desk and blackout curtains that actually block out light. The whole space feels thoughtfully designed rather than just thrown together with standard hotel furniture.

Dining & Amenities

The on-site restaurant serves a solid mix of international and local dishes, though I’d honestly recommend venturing out for dinner to explore the neighborhood’s food scene. Breakfast, however, is worth staying in for — they do a proper spread with both Western options and regional specialties. The fitness center is well-equipped if you’re the type who can’t skip workouts while traveling, and there’s a business center that’s actually useful (not just a couple of ancient computers in a corner). Parking is available, which is a real blessing in this part of Hangzhou where finding a spot can be a nightmare.

  Reception team was so supportive , they are giving extended support , due to language barrier they helped me a lot for taxi booking , everyday coming outside the hotel at pickup location and explainimg to driver for exact drop off location.

  Overall, the hotel is decent. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is responsive. The view from the higher floors is good. There's a McDonald's nearby, which served as our breakfast since we opted for a rate without breakfast.
  
  What could be improved: The hotel feels a bit worn out: the finishes in the elevators, common areas, and hallways all seem somewhat dated. The elevator to the pool looks particularly unkempt. The lack of coziness and slight mess around the pool itself, which was the main reason we chose this hotel since the kids wanted a pool, was somewhat off-putting. Not all the reception staff have a basic command of English. It’s time to tidy up the common areas.

  It was a clean excellent hotel and is a full Non-smoking property so there is no residual smoke smell anywhere.
  Facilities are also good and well worth the rates we paid.
  Another very good aspect for Indian travellers is that there is an Indian restaurant just adjacent to the property so Indian travellers will be able to get Indian food in China which is otherwise quite difficult to get or you have to go far.
  Overall a great property.
  
  What could be improved: The room temperature was set at 25 degrees with heating on and it became too hot at night. It could not be adjusted as it was centrally locked. I would have preferred a room temperature of 22-23 degrees Celsius.

  The breakfast had a wide variety to choose from so that was really refreshing and something I appreciated. The location of the hotel was convenient and was able to find my way to different places easily.
