You’re positioned perfectly to explore both the business district and the more traditional parts of Hangzhou without feeling stuck in either. The metro connections are solid, and you’ll find yourself within reasonable distance of West Lake without being in the thick of the crowds.

The breakfast spread actually impressed me — and I’m usually pretty skeptical about hotel breakfast claims. They’ve got this buffet setup that covers Continental, Asian, and American options without any of them feeling like an afterthought. The congee was particularly good (clearly made by someone who knows what they’re doing), and the Western options didn’t have that sad hotel quality you sometimes encounter. Plus, there’s free parking on site, which honestly feels like a small miracle in a city like Hangzhou where parking can be a genuine headache.

  Came for Charlie concert. Walking distance around 1.2km to the big Lotus stadium. Very helpful front desk. Especially Mr Guo. I sent my food delivery wrong address to the next building. He took an effort to bring me across the main road to look for it. Luckily found. Good job.

  The rooms are clean and large enough. A great bathtub and shower location.
  
  What could be improved: There is no way for Taxi to come to the front of the hotel since the gate won't allow any car to come in. You need to drag your luggage to the reception area. If you have more than two luggages, you will be in trouble to get there since a good distance from the street to get to the reception area. No swimming pool, no kid play area, etc. similar to other Somerest hotels.
