  The staff are very helpful. The room is clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast is very good with sufficient varieties of Chinese and western food.
  
  What could be improved: The sound isolation could be improved as phone ringing in the adjacent room can be clearly heard.

  Very good breakfast, plenty of choices. A lot of tasty cooked food, many fruit juices, vegetables ….

  What could be improved: Dinner in the restaurant just basic, not too many options to choose from, some noodles soups and few other international dishes. I went there once, I tried a noodle soup that wasn't that great, just average.
  Very difficult to explain to waiter what I wanted, poor or no English at all in the restaurant, translation and speak needed via smartphone, that is simply ridiculous and I don't like that method.
  However there are few other restaurants around the hotel.
  About the location, is not true that hotel is 6 mins walking from the West lake as they say: it is a well 15 mins walk (not slowly) via the most direct street (Pinghai Road).

  Eve though the metro station is a bit far away the location is very good to easily reach the west lake. Very good breakfast and helpful personnel. Comfortable room.

  The hotel is located near the West Lake where it is easy accessible to the busy areas and night life. The breakfast offered both Western and Chinese options. The staff were polite and professional. Well recommended.

  Reasonably good location. You are short walk toWest Lake, and the walk to the main area has lots of nice tourist shops and coffee shops along the route. There are amusing cleaning robots in the lobby. The staff are helpful and patient.
  
  What could be improved: The view from the window isn't much to gaze at (it's just the fairly boring city really) The exterior of the hotel was undergoing a big refurb when I visited – it looked like a building site from the outside. That said I didn't hear any construction noise in my room.
