The bathroom was spacious enough, and honestly, the shower pressure was better than I expected. What I really appreciated was the view — not every room overlooks the lake directly, but even the city-facing ones give you glimpses of Hangzhou’s interesting mix of old and new architecture.

The breakfast spread here deserves a mention because it’s one of those buffets that tries to please everyone and somehow succeeds. You’ve got your standard American options — eggs, bacon, the works — alongside continental choices and some local dishes that are worth trying. The congee was particularly good, and they had fresh fruit that actually tasted fresh. The restaurant stays busy with both hotel guests and locals, which is usually a good sign. Service can slow down during peak morning hours, but the quality makes up for any wait.

  Clealiness

• Everything is perfect. The room was clean , bed was cozy. Shower gel and lotion were also fragrance – Cranberry from Thailand – 10 July 2025 (8/10)

  The location is quite nice, not too far to places for a walk. The best thing I like here was the 2 sisters receptionists. They were the only two person who could communicate with me in English well.
  
  What could be improved: The thing I didn't like most for this place was the sound of horn which I could hear every 2 seconds even very late at night. My room was at the front wing of the street. That sounds made me in difficulty to sleep
