This three-star property has this understated charm that grows on you, especially when you realize how much thought went into making guests comfortable without all the fuss. The moment you step inside, you sense a genuine attention to detail that prioritizes comfort over pretense.

Location & Getting Around

Being in Xihu District puts you in a sweet spot, actually. You’re close enough to West Lake that you can easily bike there in the morning (and trust me, early morning at the lake is magical), but far enough from the tourist chaos that you get a real feel for how locals live. The street itself is pretty quiet — mostly residential with some small shops and eateries that don’t show up in guidebooks. I mean, there’s this little noodle place two blocks down that became my daily breakfast ritual. The neighborhood truly captures the essence of authentic local living.

The Space Itself

The apartment setup is what really sets this place apart from typical hotel rooms. You get a proper living area that doesn’t feel cramped, and honestly, having that extra space to spread out makes such a difference when you’re staying more than a couple nights. The kitchen isn’t huge, but it’s functional — I managed to make simple meals and store leftovers, which saved me a ton of money. The whole place feels lived-in rather than sterile, if that makes sense. Every corner has been thoughtfully arranged for maximum comfort and practicality.

Practical Perks

Here’s something I really appreciated — the free parking right on site. If you’re planning to rent a car and explore beyond Hangzhou (which I’d totally recommend), you’re not stuck hunting for street parking or paying daily garage fees. It’s one of those things that seems small until you actually need it. The staff was pretty helpful too, though don’t expect perfect English — but honestly, that just adds to the authentic local experience. These practical touches make all the difference during your stay.

Why Guests Love It

I can see why couples rate this place so highly. There’s something intimate about having your own little space rather than just a hotel room, and the neighborhood has this romantic, everyday-life-in-China vibe that’s hard to find in touristy areas. You can cook dinner together, take evening walks without bumping into tour groups, and actually feel like you’re living somewhere rather than just visiting. It’s not perfect — the building shows its age and amenities are basic — but for the price and the experience, it delivers exactly what it promises without trying to be something it’s not.   Location, washing machine, fridge and fully equipped kitchen. Well packed towels and amenities provided. Staff trying her best to get us early check in.
  
  What could be improved: Wear and tear on the wall, shower holder knob is loose, floor tiles is not even, main door is not evenly with the floor and caused hard to close, toilet door unable to close properly. Actual room is different from the picture shown. Payment pay on the spot, not via booking.com

  The hotel owner is very friendly and approachable. Location is good, a lot restaurant nearby and near subway . Room size is big and can accommodate 4-5 people
  
  What could be improved: The entrance to the apartment is quite run down and can be quite scary especially at night. They don’t have. Proper reception, the reception is at level 6, the corridor is also old and pack with stuffs from the residents. The toilet also quite dirty due to mold.

  Good appartments to long stay. Spacious rooms, refrigerator, tiles, washing machine. Near to matro station. Friendy staff.

  The room is spacious, big enough for our family to stay. The staff is very warm welcoming and supportive, I gave feedback that some marks in the fridge, the staff then sent a cleaner to clean it, quick response. I also like the mountain view from my room.

  客房是標準式公寓型，挺大蠻舒服的，又附有洗衣機、冰箱、小型廚房，真的是很方便，還有隔音效果挺好的

  地理位置很好 交通便利 商铺就在楼下靠近地铁 ，整体还是很推荐的
  
  What could be improved: 卫生间里的隔离玻璃，浴室里的墙壁和地板有黑色的迹，沐浴间地板用完以后隔天踏地板会渗水，可圈可点卫生要求若能再细节些就更完美了😉

  I like that it was easy to check in (no check-in) just a message with the codes. It was really clean, someone came daily to change the towels and water. It is conveniently close to the Metro station and the delivery was super fast for food or other requirements. Recommended for people that are visiting Hangzhou, small families, or couples and friends. Can easily sleep 4 comfortably. There is a kettle, tea, and some cutlery.
  
  What could be improved: The location is busy (which can be nice for most people), but when we first saw the location (building and the floor we were on) it gave the feeling of a dormitory (but once we were inside the apartment, it was fine). The beds were a little hard for us, but it might not be an issue for others.
